Ugh! Top running backs are holding back fantasy offenses
Did you have the first pick of your fantasy draft? Or the second? Or the third or fourth? Chances are, you considered yourself lucky. In fact, I’m guessing that if you had the first pick, you wasted no time sending in your pick. You probably didn’t flinch and you probably figured you had the safest investment in your draft.
“LT.”
You didn’t need to accompany it with anything else. Who was going to question that decision? Every pundit with a pen or laptop told you that there was no way you could consider selecting anyone else. After all, how often do 31-touchdown seasons occur among running backs?

Hazean Mock Draft: 10th overall pick

If you’re a frequent reader of my blog, you’ll have noticed the updated-daily portion of this site’s sidebar. Aptly titled, the Mock Draft I am participating in is with some fellow bloggers, all of whom have a strong interest — and knowledge — regarding fantasy football.
Already, the first nine picks have come and gone with 7 running backs and 2 quarterbacks off the board. Ordinarily, you might not see 2 quarterbacks drafted within the first 9 picks of a draft, but this particular league (set up by The Hazean) awards six points for each passing touchdown. And given the nature of quarterbacks like Carson Palmer and Peyton Manning, six points per touchdown adds up very fast.
All this leaves me with the 10th pick.

Who should fantasy owners draft number two overall?

By now the national consensus is that running back LaDainian Tomlinson is the best overall fantasy football player. And why not assume that? After a record breaking season in 2006, Tomlinson remains in the prime of his career. But it’s time owners look to number two overall and consider the available options.

Quick Reference: Stingiest fantasy football defenses — Quarterbacks

NFL defenses do not willfully give up yards. Ever. Fortunately, some defenses are worse than others, which is why teams can sometimes score at will.
As a fantasy owner, you should have a pretty good idea of which defenses are the weakest and which are the most overwhelming. The following is a list of all 32 defenses, in order of strength.
