Team Needs: Tennessee Titans
What You Say: MLB, FS, and WRs
My Top 3: DL, WR, and TE
Albert Haynesworth has been a great defensive tackle for the Tennessee Titans for a considerable amount of time now, but his contract expires after the season. Whether the team keeps him around via the franchise tag or a long-term deal or lets him go to free agency remains a question. The team also no doubt could use someone to play opposite him at tackle.
After watching the Titans struggle over the past several seasons, it’s become incredibly apparent that the team has a gaping hole when it comes to talent at receiver. Vince Young is a good, young quarterback who has struggled at times because of his receiving talent. Acquiring some help at wide receiver, as well as tight end, could make the Titans a more threatening team. And considering what they’ve accomplished without great talent on offense, they could finally give Indianapolis a real run for the division.

I definitely agree with WR and TE, Vince needs more weapons. Vince is like a young Steve McNair and is by far the most mobile QB playing and he has been having to utilize running way too much. A good TE would be great…those slant plays worked great for McNair and Wycheck! I heard thru the grapevine that Chad Johnson mentioned something somewhere about an interest in being traded possibly to TN. That would be huge for the Titans offense.
I belive they should definitely re-sign Big Al…we’ve seen what happens to the Titans “D” when he’s not playing. If they re-sign, it wouldn’t hurt them at all if they didn’t pick up another qualified DT…but it would definitely help. I think Pacman Jones is also coming back this season. They have a gwap in salary cap money to spend so while he’s available…GET ASAUNTE SAMUAL!!! Those 2 in the secondary would be a force.
I would not mind seeing the Titans with a good RB like Jamal Lewis, who will also be a free agent I heard. The Titans use a balance mix up of run and pass, so the right moves in the off-season have the Titans moving the chains and putting 6 on the board all day long in 2008.
