When you walk into your fantasy football draft you should have a few things with you. The first is a notebook or something else to mark what — not the “who,” you should be more concerned with positions being drafted — others are drafting (I’m hoping to release a sweet tool that makes that easy; I use one, but I’m going to make it available to you soon).
You should also have handy a list of players, ranked — what you’re reading — and a sharpie to cross off those who are drafted.
Below is a list of who I believe the top 20 quarterbacks will be (before weighting; see below). Because my blog doesn’t look very pretty when you print it off, I’ve included a couple handy pdf documents for your printing/reading pleasure. If you click the name, it will take you to a player profile page I’ve created. Note that not all the players have a profile page; I’m working on that.
There are two printable pdf cheatsheets because each uses a separate set of fantasy league rules. I didn’t have the time to look at every league format, so I simply took the primary two that predominantly exist. Open in a window by clicking link (”The first”, for example) or right click and “save target as.”
- The first: 4 points per TD pass, .04 points per passing yard (one point every 25 yards), and -1 point per interception. Also, 6 points per rushing touchdown and .10 points per rushing yard (1 point every 10 yards).
- The second: 6 points per TD pass, .04 points per passing yard (one point every 25 yards), and -2 points per interception. Also, 6 points per rushing touchdown and .10 points per rushing yard (1 point every 10 yards).
Also, the above pdf’s are weighted based on my projections after considering injury risks. If you want to see the rankings before the weighting (i.e. assuming each player will start 16 games), read the below rankings.
Read on and enjoy using these tools when you draft!
NOTE: The following is a straight-up prediction of how I believe these players will do over the course of a season. In other words, the pdf sheets are your best bet for solid rankings that include the factors of consistency and injury concerns.number in (parentheses) is bye week; those *’d can be considered risks for reason of potential suspension, potential loss of starting spot, or injury
