I thought I’d let my readers know that I’m currently participating in a two round fantasy football mock draft, courtesy The Hazean. Here’s his breakdown:

12 bloggers have been selected to participate in The Hazean’s first annual fantasy football mock draft. The draft will take place through the month of July and up to the beginning of the NFL’s preseason schedule.

Each blogger will have one day to make their selection and is responsible for a short write-up explaining their pick, the strategy behind it, etc. The deadlines for each blogger’s selection will be posted tonight as well.

If a league existed, here are the rules that would be applied:

• 6 points per touchdown
• 1 point per 25 yards passing
• -2 points per interception
• -2 points per fumble lost
• 1 point per 10 yards rushing/receiving

Pretty standard stuff, although Yahoo! and others only score 4 points per touchdown for quarterbacks. But The Hazean does not roll that way.
