Keyshawn to retire

NFL Draft analysis from Keyshawn? You ain’t seen nothing yet.
The former Pro Bowl wide receiver is preparing to announce his retirement sometime today at a complex at USC. His career in broadcasting will then officially begin when ESPN makes the announcement shortly after Johnson delivers his farewell.
Though he is a three time Pro Bowl wide receiver, Johnson failed to find a suitor since being released by the Carolina Panthers. He did receive several offers, but none larger than league minimum. Several teams could have made use of his services and it’s somewhat surprising the Green Bay Packers didn’t make him an offer.
Clearly the team is in the process of rebuilding, and adding someone with veteran leadership and wisdom could have made a positive impact on the young wide receivers. Not to mention that Johnson would have made a solid possession-style receiver.
