Veteran wide receiver and free agent Keyshawn Johnson said Friday that he would be interested in wearing Silver and Black in 2007.
Unfortunately for Johnson, the Raiders already have two starters: Joey Porter and Ronald Curry. No doubt he’d be a good number three in that offense, but unless he is willing to play in the slot, it’s unlikely he will join Oakland.
The more likely scenario is Johnson in Tennessee. He has already met with the Titans, a team that needs wide receivers to complement Vince Young’s arm. Giving last season’s Rookie of the Year more weapons would certainly do the offense some good, especially with questions at running back.
