T.O.: I got “nothing” out of my one year with Tuna

Terrell Owens doesn’t seem to understand the concept of “respect.” The wide receiver dubbed “T.O.” by fans and media alike is drawing more attention to himself with his latest comments regarding former head coach Bill Parcells.
When asked what he got out of his one season with head coach Bill Parcells, Owens casually responded, “Nothing really.”
Evidently, their personalities didn’t mix. Owens likes a coach who isn’t a “disciplinarian.” He prefers someone he can take advantage of.
“Everybody knows he’s a laid-back coach, obviously a little different than Bill. … I don’t think you have to be a disciplinarian to get your point across,” Owens said. “I think having a new head coach (Wade Phillips) is good for everybody.
“It’s a little bit more relaxed. I think you can tell that by the atmosphere in the locker room. I don’t think I just have to really spell it out for you, but I think it’s very evident.”
Owens’ comments show a complete lack of respect for one of the game’s greatest coaches. He didn’t need to rip Parcells to get his point across, but because he thrives on attention he did. One can only hope that new head coach Wade Phillips won’t be so “laid-back” when T.O. causes his yearly parade of distractions.
