Miami consider’s trade for New York’s Kendall
Looking to improve the offensive line, the Miami Dolphins are considering a trade for offensive guard Pete Kendall of the New York Jets. The only underlying rift in the deal is between the two teams’ division; both call the AFC East home, and a trade that would result in the Dolphins coming out ahead would clearly burn Jets fans everywhere.
Fortunately for Miami, however, New York is more apt to make the deal happen because the team is reportedly interested in releasing the 12 year veteran because of salary cap and roster constraints. Doing so would make him a free agent who can be picked up by the Dolphins. Why not instead make a trade to acquire a player or future draft pick?
