Patriots continue to be active in free agency

The New England Patriots are reportedly eying Chicago defensive lineman and free agent, Ian Scott. Scott visited the team yesterday at Gillette Stadium, and it wouldn’t be surprising if the team made an offer.

Scott is one of the best available defensive linemen in free agency, having appeared in 49 regular-season games with 33 starts. But if the Patriots want him, they’ll have to outbid several other interested teams: Atlanta, Denver, and Minnesota. Scott has already visited each of those teams, and all three are interested in adding a starting defensive tackle.
