With their corps beefed up following free agency and the NFL Draft — the most notable acquisitions being Takeo Spikes and rookie Stewart Bradley — the Philadelphia Eagles have opted to release outside linebacker Dhani Jones. Jones is considered one of the most overrated players on the roster and he hasn’t totaled more than 76 tackles since joining the team in 2004. He has averaged 72 tackles per season since joining and made only one sack in his three years in Philadelphia.
