Where will Quinn go? Green Bay?

The Miami Dolphins made a huge mistake by passing on Quinn and instead choosing Ginn Jr., a wide receiver who doesn’t have top 10 material and was mostly projected to be taken 15-25th overall by experts. But Quinn shouldn’t feel too bad. After all, the further he falls, the better because it essentially means that he will be playing behind a better offensive line and better team next season. But for who?

The next few teams on the clock have already invested in a quarterbacks; Carolina, St. Louis,  and Pittsburgh will not likely draft him. In fact, Buffalo has a young “franchise” quarterback, first round draft choice JP Losman who is still growing and maturing.

But this all begs the question, What about Green Bay at 16th overall? The Packers are not new to this scenario; they drafted Aaron Rodgers after he fell out of the top 20 picks after being projected as a top 10. But this is different: Quinn is an NFL-ready quarterback, someone who the Packers will be able to plug in after he gains a year of experience watching Brett Favre; he has all the skills necessary; he’ll be playing for a young and growing team; and, most importantly, Green Bay fans will love him.

If he falls to 16th overall, expect the — extremely happy — Packers to draft him.
