Cleveland beefs offensive line with addition of Joe Thomas
With the third pick of the 2007 NFL Draft, Cleveland has selected left tackle Joe Thomas. Thomas is a great addition for a couple reasons. One, he is a great blocker. He has more speed and agility than most and his downside is almost non-existent outside of an injury concern. Secondly, he plays left tackle, so he will be guarding the quarterback’s blindside. That’s great news for Charlie Frye or whoever else steps under center next season.
