San Diego to deal Turner to undisclosed team
Breaking news from The Tennessean states that the San Diego Chargers have agreed to a deal with a team interested in running back Michael Turner.
When asked which team was involved, Agent Bus Cook could only guess.
“I don’t have a clue, unless it’s the Titans, but I don’t know,’’ Cook said. “But they haven’t called me about it. I haven’t heard from anybody.’’
The team involved is most likely either Tennessee, Green Bay, or Buffalo. The most likely? Buffalo. Drafting 13th overall, they pick before either of the other two and they are the most desperate. If it is true that Buffalo made the deal, expect Green Bay to draft running back Marshawn Lynch in the first round (if he’s available, as expected).
