The Baltimore Sun reports that Baltimore team officials are “optimistic” that Pro Bowl tackle Jonathan Ogden will return for the 2007 season. There has not been any official word, but fans of the Ravens should be optimistic as well. Ogden is arguably the team’s best player, and he will play a large role in the 2007 campaign, should he return. It has been rumored he will retire, but with the Ravens making a big offseason move to acquire running back Willis McGahee, Ogden may feel inclined to return to a team that was only two wins away from the Super Bowl last season.
