Miami’s RFA punter agrees to Rams’ offer

The Miami Herald reports that Drew Rosenhaus’s client — no, not that one — Donnie Jones has agreed to a Rams’ offer sheet worth about $5.6 million over 5 years. Because Jones is a restricted free agent, however, there is no certainty Rams will necessarily acquire him.

The sheet will reportedly be signed on Friday, meaning the Dolphins have seven days to match the offer. If they choose not to, Jones can say goodbye to the beaches of Miami and say hello to the Gateway Arch.
